We have a very special episode of Haken: An Animal Crossing Podcast. Today, we are doing a final live test on our Discord. So, this episode is being recorded live in front of our Discord audience. It was a lot of fun to be able to chat with everybody live while recording the show. This opened the show up to a lot of audience interaction that was definitely great to have.
Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee
The first thing we discuss is the surprise presentation that Nintendo gave for all their latest Pokemon News. It seemed like an odd way to release the news about the next game. The event was closed and only industry professionals and media outlets were there to cover all the announcements. I received all the news via Twitter where the news was being posted by the Pokemon Company.
We give our impressions of all the news that was released and how it was released. It seems like most the leaks were correct, but only about a specific game. Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee are remakes of Yellow Version. We also got Pokemon Quest announced for Nintendo Switch and mobile. The game is definitely a mobile game with simple controls. The final announcement was for a true core title coming to Nintendo Switch in the second half of 2019.
Updates for our Live E3 Show!
We give our listeners some important updates for our upcoming live show. We are doing a special live recording of the podcast on June 12th, 2018, right after Nintendo’s E3 Direct. It’s going to be a lot of fun to talk about everything that just happened. We’re hoping that there will be good news for us Animal Crossing fans! We really need to get an Animal Crossing Switch game!

Many of our users asked us questions about Animal Crossing and what we think about the upcoming Switch title. They also ask us about our favorite aspects of the other Animal Crossing games.
