Nintendo has finally released Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp to apple and android mobile devices! Not only that, the game has come a full day early. Sergio and I are here to give you all the tips and tricks to the game because we have already been playing the game for a few weeks. We also took different approaches to playing the game. I have restarted my journey while Sergio has continued his campsite.
Small Details About Pocket Camp
Initially, the game experienced many connection issues and the servers had a hard time keeping up with those trying to play. Nintendo provided some free leaf tickets to make up for the loss of game time. Unfortunately, some players were frustrated and decided not to play the game. I had started a day after the server problems so when I finally played, the game was working well. There was another reason players were ditching the game.
The tutorial was a long experience for players so they were soon turned off by the game. Sergio and I had not noticed the length of the tutorial because we were both excited to have a new Animal Crossing experience. However, after trying the tutorial a second time, I could see that the length of the tutorial could deter players from finding joy in the experience.
Pocket Camp Tips
For all those new players out there, we are here to give you the best information on getting leaf tickets and materials in the game. Now that the game is out worldwide, we can connect our My Nintendo accounts to get extra tickets and materials. Be sure to link your account so you can stock up on cotton to build up your tents and build those amenities.
Brief Animal Crossing History
We discuss a bit of the history behind the Animal Crossing series and its many iterations. We cover the Gamecube, Nintendo DS, Wii, Nintendo 3DS, and the odd Wii U game. Animal Crossing Population Growing, Wild World, City Folk, New Leaf, Happy Home Designer, and amiibo Festival all brought something new to Animal Crossing and how we experienced the game. While some games are more popular than others, it is nice to see how the series has progressed.
