Welcome to the year 2018! In the first Haken: An Animal Crossing Podcast of 2018, Sergio and I cover the possibility of seeing an announcement for Animal Crossing Switch. We also discuss what Sergio and I have been up to since the break. We will discuss our new adventures on Pocket Camp since the update. We also talk a bit about our own Animal Crossing resolutions such as learning Animal Crossing songs on guitar and starting new AC videos on YouTube.
In the first portion, Sergio and I talk about our first ever meet up in person. While we are both originally from the LA area, I have been living out of state. On this visit, we were both able to meet up and play some Switch while geeking out over Animal Crossing. He also shared me his Animal Crossing New Leaf photo album where he keeps all of his old photos of his gameplay through Animal Crossing New Leaf. It was a truly special thing to see and all the memories Sergio was able to capture.
We also chat about different Animal Crossing memorabilia and how hard it is to find in the US. The Nintendo store in New York had the best selection of Animal Crossing plushies that I’d ever seen. From there we chat about our own Animal Crossing resolutions for 2018. Sergio and I talk about the things we want to do this year that are Animal Crossing related. I plan on bringing more Animal Crossing videos to YouTube and Sergio is planning on learning Animal Crossing songs on guitar.
New Updates in Pocket Camp
There are many changes that have come to Animal Crossing Pocket Camp that are improving the world that we live in. The latest update has brought us many different villagers such as Boots and Sprinkle. We discuss the progress we have made over our break and the amenities we are focused on building. We are enjoying the changes that have been made to the game.
